The Mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, informed about the results of the discussion. He drew attention to the fact that the safety of operating Kyiv's bridges became a separate topic against the backdrop of increasing intensity of shelling of critical infrastructure objects.
“In particular, specialists from the relevant city institutions are developing additional technical solutions for preserving the structures of bridge crossings over the Dnipro River. Proposals from the military were heard on this issue,” the mayor explained.
The meeting also considered the issue of installing mobile shelters. Participants heard information from the leadership of the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast.
Vitali Klitschko reminded that in mid-October, during a meeting of the Kyiv City State Administration, he issued an order to the heads of the capital's districts. They were instructed to determine priorities in spending funds on equipping shelters, not to shirk the issue of installing mobile shelters, and to redistribute financial resources within district budgets.
