Protesters clash with police who use tear gas in Clermont-Ferrand

Clashes in the centre of the country

France has once again been engulfed by a wave of public discontent. In the city of Clermont-Ferrand, located in the central part of the state, groups of protesters took to the streets, predominantly consisting of young people and teenagers. The demonstrators held red flags in their hands.

The situation intensified when clashes began between the participants of the rally and the police. Law enforcement officers used tear gas.
