Drone disappears in protective structure

On Tuesday evening, an attempt was made to attack a municipal bus in Zaporizhzhia with a Russian FPV drone. According to information, the drone did not reach its target point but became entangled in an anti-drone net and detonated.

The incident was reported by Mykhailo Semikin, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration. According to him, the attack occurred around 22:30.

Passenger condition and damage

The official representative of the authorities emphasised that the vehicle sustained only minor damage. He called the preservation of people's health the main achievement of the protective measures.

«Автобус зазнав незначних пошкоджень. Найголовніше – усі пасажири цілі та неушкоджені» ("The bus sustained minor damage. The most important thing is that all passengers are safe and unharmed"), Semikin noted.

Effectiveness of protective measures

Mykhailo Semikin added that this case demonstrates the need to install anti-drone nets on roads.

«Це ще один доказ того, наскільки важливо захищати наші дороги антидроновими сітками. Продовжуємо цю роботу» ("This is further proof of how important it is to protect our roads with anti-drone nets. We continue this work"), the head of the Regional Military Administration concluded.
