Refusal to take the "Fundamentals of National Resistance" course may lead to student expulsion

New rules for students

From 1 October 2026, a procedure came into force requiring students to complete the "Fundamentals of National Resistance" course. This is reported by the publication "Sudovo-yurydychna hazeta". "Судово-юридична газета" ("Judicial and Legal Gazette").

Consequences of refusing to study

Refusal to study the specified discipline or failure to meet the requirements set out in the curriculum may serve as grounds for expulsion from the educational institution. This provision applies to all students who have failed to fulfil their obligation to complete the course.

Who is subject to the new measures

The changes apply to students pursuing pre-higher and higher professional education. The requirements are in force for those studying under full-time or dual education forms.
