Since the beginning of the current week, Ukrainians have been mass-reporting glitches in the operation of the electronic taxpayer cabinet at cabinet.tax.gov.ua. The resource is effectively unavailable to users.
Confirmation of outages and demand to DST leadership
Extensive technical difficulties were reported by both professional communities for sole proprietors and official government representatives. Danylo Hetmantsev, head of the Tax and Finance Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, noted on his social media that he had received a large number of complaints from taxpayers.
«Шановні нові керівники ДПС, з суботи отримую десятки звернень від платників податків через проблеми з електронним кабінетом. Почніть свої реформи не з цього. Прошу терміново відновити роботу сервісу та пояснити людям причини тривалого збою, а також строки його усунення» (Dear new DST leaders, since Saturday I have received dozens of appeals from taxpayers due to problems with the electronic cabinet. Start your reforms not with this. I ask you to urgently restore the service and explain to people the reasons for the prolonged outage, as well as the deadlines for its resolution), wrote Hetmantsev.
Official position of the tax service
The main resource of the State Tax Service (tax.gov.ua) is functioning in normal mode, but there is no information on exactly when access to the cabinet will be restored. The only thing indicated on the website is a notice about the planned suspension of the service from 00:00 on 24 October until the morning of 26 October for routine and technical work. No data on the completion of these measures has been officially published.
Risks for business ahead of deadlines
The inoperability of the electronic cabinet coincides with the period for paying a number of taxes. Due to the non-functioning resource, businesses may face difficulties.
In particular, by 29 October, legal entities are required to make advance payments of the vehicle tax for the third quarter. On 30 October, companies are obliged to pay a wide range of taxes and fees for September-October 2026, which include:
- excise tax;
- land fee (land tax and/or rent for state or municipal plots);
- personal income tax and military levy on accrued but unpaid income;
- rental fee for the use of subsoil, radio frequency resources, transportation of oil/ammonia;
- advance payments of corporate profit tax by enterprises that have foreign currency exchange points;
- single tax for legal entities and Group 4 sole proprietors for the third quarter of 2026.
