Instagram star faces prison sentence

24-year-old Instagram star Kira Mayer faces prison time for assaulting a police officer. The woman got into a fight with a police officer in the centre of the Russian capital.

As it turned out, Kira was stopped by a patrol. When asked to provide her documents, the woman refused. She simply did not have them, as the blogger’s driving licence had been revoked the previous year for leaving the scene of an accident.

The police officer decided to draw up a report on the woman and promised to suspend her driving privileges. After this, the star started a fight. Mayer not only scratched and hit the traffic police officer but also insulted him and attempted to flee the scene. However, Kira was detained and arrested for five days.
