Aleksandr Orlovsky, better known as the "crypto guru", has found himself at the centre of a new scandal. According to information published on the 360ua.news portal, citing CRiME, Orlovsky, previously seen organising dubious schemes through the Financial Freedom Academy project, is now actively promoting another fraudulent platform — Veles Finance.
Veles Finance positions itself as a service for creating trading bots in the cryptocurrency market, yet the platform's reputation raises serious questions. Clients have repeatedly complained about fraud, unjustified loss of funds, and deliberate misleading of users. Moreover, it has emerged that the platform has close ties with Russia, which raises additional concerns given the current geopolitical situation.
Orlovsky, it is alleged in the article, not only collaborates with this platform but also actively invests in its advertising, distributing his referral link. In his materials, including training videos, he encourages Ukrainian citizens to use the services of Veles Finance, ignoring numerous complaints and risks.
According to data from 360ua.news, platform users attracted by Orlovsky are facing massive financial losses.
For example, on 5 August 2024, Veles Finance clients reported a complete loss of all their investments. Despite this, Orlovsky continues to call on people via the Discord platform to take out loans secured by cryptocurrency to finance trading bots on Veles.

The journalists emphasise that this data confirms Orlovsky's involvement in dubious financial operations.
After compromising information emerged, Orlovsky began actively filling search results with positive publications about himself to hide negative facts. This is a standard reputation management method used by figures in similar scandals.
Experts warn that investors involved in this scheme may suffer significant financial losses, while Orlovsky himself receives a percentage from each transaction.
