Alexey Goncharenko: "There will be a court"

As is known, yesterday in Moscow, during a mourning march in memory of the late opposition figure Boris Nemtsov, Ukrainian People's Deputy Alexey Goncharenko was detained by the police.

Today, information emerged that Goncharenko was allowed to leave Russia for Ukraine, and that law enforcement officials have no claims against him; he will not be tried.

According to Alexey himself, there will indeed be a court hearing, although he will not be the one on trial; the session is scheduled to address his lawsuit against Russian law enforcement officials.

«МВД РФ отозвало свои претензии ко мне. Суда не будет. (The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has withdrawn its claims against me. There will be no trial.)

Ещё вчера я подал заявление обо всех неправомерных действиях по отношению ко мне, начиная от избиения сотрудниками полиции и заканчивая недопустим ко мне врача и адвоката. As late as yesterday, I filed a statement regarding all unlawful actions taken against me, ranging from being beaten by police officers to being denied access to a doctor and a lawyer.)

It is worth noting that it was previously reported that a court hearing regarding the People's Deputy would take place in Moscow today at 15:00.
