Filatov threatens journalists with court action

Not long ago, reports circulated that prominent oligarch and People's Deputy of Ukraine Boris Filatov received compensation for hotel accommodation. Today, the MP posted a scan of a letter signed by the head of the Verkhovna Rada's apparatus, Zaitchuk, on his online page, stating that he had not received any compensation. Filatov proposed that the publications which reported on this issue issue a retraction; otherwise, he threatened to take them to court.

«Предлагаю всем изданиям, которые опубликовали неправдивую информацию сделать опровержение и принести извинения. (I propose that all publications that have published false information issue a retraction and apologise.)

В противном случае, буду вынужден обращаться в суд (Otherwise, I will be forced to go to court)», - wrote Boris Filatov.
