Israel may have started supplying weapons captured in Gaza

Israel is reportedly beginning to transfer to Ukraine weapons captured during military operations in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria. This armament, manufactured using Soviet and Russian technologies, may have been shipped via US military bases in the European Union.

This week, US Air Force military transport aircraft were observed making flights from Ramstein Air Base in Germany to Hatzerim Airbase, located in southern Israel. Subsequently, some of the flights proceeded to Rzeszów in Poland — a key logistics hub where the majority of military aid deliveries to Ukraine are concentrated.

Although there have been no official statements regarding the start of weapons transfers, Israel's actions may be linked to an initiative previously voiced by government representatives. During one of the meetings with the Ukrainian ambassador, Israeli authorities discussed the possibility of transferring to Ukraine weapons captured in combat.
