Health Ministry bought syringes without needles

The Ministry of Health purchased and distributed syringes without needles to hospitals. Krasnoarmeisk and Dmytriv hospitals alone received 16,000 such needle-less syringes each, totalling 64,000 hryvnia according to the documents. Other district hospitals across the country also received similar syringes.

All of this, naturally, will sit in storage for some time before being written off, as these syringes are useless to anyone without needles.

It remains a mystery how many of these syringes the Ministry of Health purchased in total, from whom, and why law enforcement agencies have not yet investigated this case of wasted budget funds. One can only hope that this incident will not go unnoticed, and those responsible will be punished.
