MPs injured in scuffle at Korban court hearing

A hearing was held today at the Pechersk Court regarding the choice of preventive measure for oligarch Hennadiy Korban, which ended in a scandal and a scuffle between Members of Parliament and prosecutors.

After the judge, who had postponed the hearing to tomorrow, was escorted out of the courtroom by police officers, supporters of Hennadiy Korban started a fight with a prosecutor who was sending a text message to an unknown number during the session. As a result of the confrontation, several MPs were injured. Volodymyr Parasyuk felt unwell. Andriy Lozovyi sustained a leg injury.
