Rally in support of Yefremov held near SBA

Today, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv continued the hearing on the choice of preventive measure for former leader of the Party of Regions faction, Oleksandr Yefremov. The hearing, as yesterday, is being held in closed session at the prosecutor's request.

While the hearing is taking place, so-called supporters of Yefremov have begun gathering near the SBA on Reznikova Street with Party of Regions flags. The protesters are demanding the release of the former MP.

According to witnesses, it is a stretch to call this a full-fledged rally, as there are not even several dozen protesters.

On the opposite side of the street, activists with Ukrainian flags have positioned themselves, significantly outnumbering Yefremov's supporters.
