GRU special forces soldiers captured near Shchaste

In Luhansk Oblast, Russian regular army soldiers were captured near the settlement of Shchaste. They turned out to be members of the Tolyatti-based GRU special forces unit: Yevgeny Vladimirovich Eremeev, born in 1985, callsign “Dolphin”, and Alexander Anatolyevich Aleksandrov, born in 1987, callsign “Alex”.

Both prisoners were wounded and hospitalised in one of Ukraine’s medical facilities.

The prisoners are reluctant but are providing statements to Ukrainian law enforcement agencies.

Video evidence was posted on his Facebook page by Ukrainian People’s Deputy Borys Filatov.
