Fighter with callsign Shyp from the 93rd Brigade killed in action

Officer of the 2nd Battalion of the 93rd Brigade, callsign Shyp. Heroically killed. Today. Two children. Son is literally four months old. Was supposed to go home in a week. We had known each other for a long time. I promised him a post in my style about him, he asked for it himself. That is why I took photos. But I left and many tasks distracted me. To be honest, he was the best officer among all three battalions of the 93rd Brigade.

A true professional, a patriot, always sober. All initiatives for the defence of the airport area came personally from him. Height 17, or "the anthill" as the separatists called it, became an impregnable fortress only thanks to his personal drive. I have not seen such engineering preparation carried out during the entire war, especially under constant shelling. Others were f***ing up their positions, fleeing from the meteorological station, and prophesied the same fate for Height 17. But Shyp was there. And the separatists broke their teeth. And the command had to adapt.

He was loved by both soldiers and "right-wingers"; he was an irreplaceable person. He could personally, and this happened repeatedly in my presence, go to the airport and lay mines for the invaders, and then, after they detonated, lead a group and go over the fence again. He not only built a brilliant defence but also planned offensive operations. We were supposed to take the meteorological station, and only the infantilism of the other "alcohol-army" officers prevented the plans from being realised. But he was always sober and energetic. There was a measure of adventurism, but he looked after his people. He loved Ukraine and did more than was required of him; he did everything possible in his position. Eternal memory to you, Shyp!!!
