Two soldiers of the Dnipro-1 battalion killed

Today, in the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone, two soldiers of the Dnipro-1 battalion Yuri Dmytriev and Hryhorii Matyash, callsign Black, were killed. Battalion commander Yuri Berezha announced the news.

“Today, the Dnipro-1 regiment lost two more brothers-in-arms.

On the last day of July, our fighters joined the Heavenly Guard – police major Yuri Dmytriev and Hryhorii Matyash (Black).
During the night, Yuri Dmytriev, born in 1965, died at the Mechnikov Hospital. He had been seriously wounded while carrying out combat missions in Pisky. Doctors fought for his life for nine days, but he never managed to return to us. 
He was a true warrior and patriot. He worked as a police officer his whole life, retired, and at the start of the war in the east, he was among the first to join the ranks of volunteers, initially in the Zaporizhzhia battalion “Skyth,” and later in “Dnipro-1.” He was a good friend, advisor, and mentor to his men.

Hryhorii Matyash, born in 1989, was killed in Pisky while carrying out a combat mission.. 
Shelling from a prohibited 120mm calibre mortar by Russian occupiers at the regiment’s positions cut the life of the 26-year-old man short. 
He was an experienced warrior, a blacksmith, and a dreamer. A good friend and sincere brother-in-arms. A bright person.
The death of every Ukrainian warrior will be avenged.
