More "warriors" of the "Russian Orthodox Army" caught

In Krasnoarmeisk, officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Donetsk region, together with attached forces and officers of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Zhytomyr region, detained criminals from the so-called DNR during a successfully planned and executed operation.

Alexey T., nicknamed "Timokha", born in 1988, resides in Krasnoarmeisk. He served as a commander of a special operations group (DRG) for the militants, which was subordinate to a representative of the Russian Federation security services, the commander of the company of the "Oplot" battalion with the callsign "Vanya Russky". He took part in the seizure of the television centre in Donetsk and the building of the Donetsk City Council.

Denis B., nicknamed "Biryuk", born in 1983, a resident of Krasnoarmeisk, is a member of the terrorist organisation DNR.

The aforementioned individuals were "dropped" into the territory controlled by Ukraine to gather information on the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, recruit new members of the DNR band formation, and organise terrorist acts in Krasnoarmeisk.

Carrying out a task from the GRU of the Russian Federation, with the aim of discrediting Ukrainian military personnel, "Timokha" and "Biryuk" committed robberies at gas stations and retail outlets while posing as fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The "warriors" have been detained and are giving testimony. The issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention is being resolved.

In just the last 10 days, officers of the Donetsk region police have detained 5 militants of the so-called DNR», - this information was shared by the head of the Donetsk region police, Vyacheslav Abroskin.
