Russia demands US remove its aircraft from Syrian airspace

It appears the talks between the Russian and US presidents were not as successful as representatives of both countries attempted to present to the public.

Today, foreign media reported that senior officials of the Russian Federation demand the US remove its military aircraft from Syrian airspace.

Russian diplomats sent an official letter to their American counterparts, outlining the country's demands, while adding that Russian aviation would now be flying in the skies over Syria.

This move indicates that no rapprochement has occurred between Russia and the US; rather, the opposite is true, as Russia attempts to "show its teeth," now using the war in the East.
