Russian drone kills journalist and surgeon

Ukrinform journalist Tetyana Kulyk and her husband, surgeon Pavlo Ivanchov, were killed in a nighttime attack by Russian drones. The drone strike hit their home in Kryukivshchyna, Bucha district, causing a massive fire in which the couple perished.

Who were the victims of the attack?

Tetyana Kulyk was a host and author of the project “Nation of the Unconquered”, editor-in-chief of the multimedia department at Ukrinform, and a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine. Over the years, she worked for Suspilne, the Central Channel, and the World Service.

Pavlo Ivanchov was a professor and head of the Department of Surgery No. 3 at Bogomolets National Medical University, and an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. He was one of the country’s leading surgeons, dedicating his life to saving people.
