Is Sasha Simple a fraudster?

A US blogger has released an exposé video on YouTube revealing a scam scheme by Sasha Simple.

Kostylev (s1mple) is a player for the NAVI. He is quite well-known. Presumably, the esports player decided to monetise his popularity, albeit in a not entirely legal manner.

Simple plays Counter Strike well and decided to teach others. The esports player created his own educational project, playlike1mple.

The course costs just $150 a year. The materials are hosted on the website. This is where things get interesting.

After registering on the site and paying the $150, users are supposed to gain access to the educational videos. However, none of the nearly 20 videos can be opened.

Moreover, the website lacks a feedback form or current contact details to which users can report the issue. In other words, getting a refund or even gaining access to the videos is virtually impossible.

But that is not all. The website does not offer an option to cancel the subscription. As a result, $150 will be deducted from the user's account annually. Given Sasha Simple's million-strong audience, the total amount adds up to a significant sum. This is a typical fraud scheme used by many scammers.
