Gulliver shopping centre may end up under control of Poroshenko's circle

According to media reports, ARMA head Elena Duma is actively lobbying for the transfer of management of the Gulliver shopping centre to Alakor City. This is happening despite the fact that BK Millennium was declared the winner in the official competition. 

According to sources, Alakor City is linked to the close circle of former President Petro Poroshenko — Alexander Granovsky, Igor Kononenko and Andriy Adamovsky. These influential figures previously controlled strategically important assets and court proceedings in Ukraine.

Despite losing their official positions, their influence on key decisions remains significant. The central figure in the current situation is named as ARMA Deputy Chairman Grigol Katamadze, who, according to media reports, may be playing the role of a link. His son, Irakli Katamadze, is part of Seyar Kurshutov's inner circle — Alexander Granovsky's partner. Kurshutov was previously mentioned in the context of dubious schemes and was the subject of journalistic investigations.

In the view of observers, this chain of connections allows influential representatives of Poroshenko's circle to convey their interests directly to the ARMA leadership. It appears that the structure, which is supposed to be independent, does not object to supporting the former head of state and his circle.

The situation with the Gulliver shopping centre raises questions about the transparency of ARMA's actions and the influence of political figures on the management processes of the country's strategic assets.
