Trump to impose tariffs on EU

US President Donald Trump stated that the introduction of new tariffs on European Union countries is inevitable.

According to Sky News, Trump emphasised that the US trade deficit with the EU exceeds $300 billion. He noted that EU countries do not buy American cars and agricultural products, despite the fact that the US imports millions of cars and significant volumes of food from them.

Trump also noted that the UK had crossed the "line" (line), but expressed confidence that this issue could be resolved. Meanwhile, the European Union, in his words, had gone "too far" (too far), and he characterised the EU's actions in this situation as "terrible" (terrible).
