Meta's 2025 goals: ambitious AI development plans

Mark Zuckerberg has outlined key tasks for his company for the coming year, covering several major areas in artificial intelligence.

One of the main goals is to turn Meta AI into a leader among virtual assistants, with a plan to reach one billion users. The company also intends to place the Llama 4 model among leading AI solutions, striving to make it the most advanced in the industry. In addition, Meta plans to create an AI engineer capable of independently developing code.

To implement these ambitious projects, the company is building a unique data centre with a capacity of over 2 GW, which corresponds to the energy needs of a city with a population of two million people. The centre's dimensions will be impressive: it will occupy an area comparable to half of Manhattan, and its power output will be similar to that of an average nuclear power plant.
