Ukrainian armoured vehicle company faces court scrutiny

Ukrainian Armoured Vehicles, headed by Vladyslav Belbas, has become the subject of legal proceedings due to unfulfilled obligations to the Ministry of Defence and the Defence Procurement Agency. The Kyiv Commercial Court is hearing claims worth tens of millions of hryvnia related to delays in the supply of armoured vehicles to the army.

State financial claims

Specifically, a new claim for 38.1 million hryvnia was registered on 26 February. The Ministry of Defence is seeking the recovery of fines, penalties, and interest on the use of funds due to the failure to meet contract deadlines.

Previously, the court had already upheld a similar claim, ordering the company to pay 3.4 million hryvnia. In another case involving 28.8 million hryvnia, the court partially granted the claims, ruling to recover 4.8 million hryvnia in penalty sanctions.
