Alexey Zharikov has died
Renowned actor Alexey Zharikov has died. This was announced by the Union of Cinematographers of Russia.
"Ушел удивительно талантливый артист, скромный, добрый человек" (A remarkably talented artist, a modest and kind person, has passed away), - this message appeared on the website of the Union of Cinematographers.
Alexey Zharikov died at the age of 69.
The actor is remembered by audiences for his role as Baron Danglars in the film "The Prisoner of the If Castle" and as an investigator in the movie "Criminal Talent".
In total, Alexey Zharikov played more than 100 roles. In 2012, the actor suffered his first stroke. A new attack occurred in March 2016.
