People blocked traffic in Dnipro

Today in the afternoon, people with placards blocked traffic in central Dnipro. The issue is that the city has no drugs for haemodialysis, which the Ministry of Health has simply failed to procure or deliver to the city's clinics.

Patients in the terminal stage of renal failure, having failed to obtain the necessary drugs in hospitals, took to Dnipro's central avenue, hoping that at least this way they would be heard. And indeed, they were.

Ukrainian People's Deputy Borys Filatov addressed Ukrainian Minister of Health  Oleksandr Kvitatashvili, who promised to resolve the situation in the near future.

Within half an hour, a solution was found.

“Позвонили. Все необходимые лекарства и расходники пообещали доставить в Днепропетровск в понедельник” (They called. They promised to deliver all necessary medicines and consumables to Dnipro on Monday), Borys Filatov reported.
