Will Vilkul become mayor of Dnipro?

The pre-election campaign in Dnipro began unfolding back in spring. One after another, candidates for the future mayoralty started launching one-hryvnia or completely free minibus routes from different parts of the city, organising water distribution and various events to win votes. The most active electorate – pensioners – has already largely decided who they will give their vote to. The teams of Borys Filatov and Zahir Krasnov were drawing up plans for how they would fight for votes against each other in the second round.

However, Oleksandr Vilkul then entered the arena, and the situation began to change rapidly. The former governor's team is effectively boasting about their victory on social media. One might ask, what is such confidence based on?!

 As it turned out, the former regionalist not only will not answer for his old sins, but on the contrary, he already has everything agreed upon in Kyiv, and it is not excluded that the city will be handed over to him, and Oleksandr Vilkul will become the mayor of Dnipro. At least, such information is being spread in narrow circles by members of Vilkul's team. Kryvyi Rih will, it seems, also remain under the control of the elder Vilkul.
