The main character of the fifth season of the romantic project "The Bachelor" - footballer Serhiy Melnyk - recently caused considerable anxiety among his fans. He posted a series of photos from a hospital on his Instagram page.

It turned out that Serhiy Melnyk had undergone knee surgery. According to the athlete, he sustained a serious leg injury during a recent match, suffering a rupture of the cruciate ligaments.

The operation took place in Kyiv under local anaesthesia. During the procedure, Serhiy watched as his leg was operated on.

Judging by the situation, the footballer seems to be feeling quite well and is even joking. When asked what kind of operation he had, Serhiy joked that he had had a breast augmentation.
