Attempt to obtain information about the investigation

As part of the investigation into the activities of a criminal organisation that provided cover for a network of call centres and drug business known as U420, the NABU released new audio recordings. In them, case suspect Andrii Osypov, known by the nickname "Criminal", discusses the possibility of obtaining information about the materials that law enforcement officers are preparing against the participants of the scheme.

Appeal to "The General"

According to the recording, Osypov proposes using a contact with an unnamed individual, whom he calls "The General", to clarify the details of the proceedings. He says:

«Якщо вони не дають відповіді, ми тоді поговоримо з Генеральним, дізнаємося, що там за матеріали, що куди вони готують» (If they do not give an answer, we will then talk to The General, find out what materials there are, what they are preparing for where).

Thus, the suspect expected to use this communication channel to establish exactly what materials are being gathered against the criminal structure and what further steps the investigators plan to take.
