Evelina Bledans' terminally ill sister, Diana, was convicted of drug smuggling. The woman attempted to smuggle 10 grams of tramadol across the border. It is possible that the show business star's sister was transporting the medication for herself.

Diana Bledans suffers from a serious liver condition and requires expensive treatment and a transplant. However, a criminal record could ruin her future. By court order, Diana will spend the next three years in a general regime correctional colony.

The verdict has not yet taken effect and may be appealed.
