Scandal surrounding the singer's 48th birthday

Isaac Vidjraku, a Spanish yoga instructor and Ani Lorak's husband, was reportedly dissatisfied that Vladimir Putin did not send a greeting to mark the artist's 48th birthday. According to Russian media, Vidjraku caused a real scandal within the singer's team, convinced that her entourage had not made sufficient efforts to "inform" the Russian leader about the occasion.

In the Spaniard's view, if Lorak's representatives had properly fulfilled their duties, she would have undoubtedly received congratulations from the Russian president, as he claims she has people in her circle with close ties to the Russian leader.

Reaction from the artist's entourage

One member of Ani Lorak's team recounted the details of the conflict: "He picked a fight with everyone, complaining that the team 'failed to inform the president' about Carolina's birthday. He said it could have been easily done, as Carolina's friends have close ties with Putin. We tried to convince him that the president only congratulates the most outstanding artists, but we were met with such a stream of negativity and shouting that, apparently, if we do not see that we are working with the most outstanding artist, why are we needed at all".

Isaac Vidjraku's behaviour not only damaged his reputation in the eyes of the singer's representatives but also cast him in an unfavourable light. One team member stated outright that the artist "married a fool".

Attempts to use connections

Perhaps the Spaniard expected that Philip Kirkorov could "pull some strings" for Lorak with Putin. This performer frequently praises the dictator and has previously claimed to be informally part of his "presidential pool". However, following his involvement in the incident dubbed the "nude party", Kirkorov's reputation in the aggressor country has plummeted, and even ordinary Russians often mock him.

Support for pro-Kremlin narratives

While Ani Lorak avoids public comments on the war, her husband actively supports pro-Kremlin rhetoric. Recently, he published a two-minute video in which he justifies the war in Ukraine and shifts responsibility for the deaths of Ukrainian citizens onto the US and NATO.

"How America forced Russia to invade Ukraine. When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, a promise was made – NATO would not move eastward even by one inch. But the opposite happened", the yoga instructor stated.

Vidjraku also accused the United States of preventing Ukraine and Russia from signing a peace deal in 2022. According to him, Kyiv was allegedly ready to agree with Moscow on neutrality, but the United States "ordered" them to refuse. He ignores the fact that the negotiation process lost its relevance after the exposure of war crimes committed by Russian troops in Bucha and other cities, as well as due to the lack of real security guarantees from the aggressor country.
