Nikolai Karachentsov urgently hospitalised

Famous actor Nikolai Karachentsov has been urgently hospitalised in one of the clinics in the Russian capital. The artist had only recently returned from Israel, where he was undergoing radiation therapy. Medics were attempting to halt the growth of his oncological condition in this way.

The radiation therapy caused a sharp drop in the star's immunity, resulting in Karachentsov contracting a virus. This became the cause of his urgent hospitalisation.

Due to the illness, doctors have been forced to postpone the start of chemotherapy, which is indicated for the artist. This could lead to the progression of lung cancer.
