Filipp Kirkorov linked to murder

Renowned performer Filipp Kirkorov appeared on Lera Kudryavtseva's show "Secret for a Million," where the stage star was forced to reveal a secret he had kept for many years.

It emerged that the king of Russian pop was under investigation in the US on suspicion of murder. The incident occurred during Kirkorov's performance at a casino in New Jersey. A security guard died as a result. Kirkorov faced a potential life sentence.

The performer shoved an elderly male security guard, who fell and was subsequently hospitalised with a head and arm injury. Several years later, the man died of a stroke. The guard's relatives attempted to prove a link between these events and took the case to court.

In 2010, a US court acquitted Kirkorov, finding him not guilty of murder.
