KISS guitarist Carl Cocciantese dies in car crash
Musician continued fighting for his life after stroke
Former guitarist of the legendary rock band KISS, Carl Cocciantese, died in a road traffic accident in the US city of Bridgewater, New Jersey. The musician was 61 years old.
Tragedy on the road
According to the Bridgewater police, the accident occurred on the morning of 19 February at approximately 07:20 local time. Cocciantese was in the passenger seat of a 2015 Subaru Legacy when the car crashed into a tree. His 90-year-old mother, Arna Cocciantese, was driving the vehicle.
Fight after stroke
The musician had previously suffered a massive stroke but continued to fight for his health. Despite the trials, he remained active and devoted to music.
