Yosif Kobzon hospitalised

Famous singer Yosif Kobzon has been hospitalised again. The 80-year-old artist has been battling cancer for over 13 years. However, it appears to no avail.

According to witnesses, he is currently in very poor condition. Medical staff had to transport him to the clinic on a stretcher. Kobzon has stopped answering phone calls from journalists, his wife refuses to comment on the situation, and the press office confirmed that the singer is currently «нездоров» (unwell).

Yet, not long ago, Kobzon was still giving interviews on one of the programmes, where he stated that he only receives treatment in Russia and recommends the same to all his acquaintances who have been diagnosed with cancer.

However, the performer is definitely being disingenuous. At the beginning of his treatment, he was spotted in Israel together with Alexander Rosenbaum, who, according to Kobzon, also once had cancer.
