Alternative notification channels

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has officially informed citizens about the available ways to receive air raid alerts during the period when the mobile app "Tryvoha!" is temporarily non-functional. The ministry emphasised that the notification system continues to operate, and information can be received through standard smartphone mechanisms and other sources.

Instructions for smartphone owners

To avoid missing an alert, the Ministry of Digital Transformation recommends activating built-in system notifications. For Apple device users, the procedure is as follows: it is necessary to go to the "Settings" section, select the "Notifications" item, and enable "Emergency Alerts".

Owners of Android-based smartphones need to go to "Settings", find the "Security and Emergency" section, and activate the "Emergency alerts" option.

Outdoor signalling and official sources

In addition to digital channels, the traditional notification system is in effect. Outdoor sirens continue to operate in standard mode. The ministry also recommends monitoring official messages from the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It was separately noted that residents of the capital can safely use the "Kyiv Digital" app, as notifications in it are delivered without failures.
