The Poltava Regional Commercial Court issued a ruling in favour of the Shcherbanivka community. It was established that LLC "BK 'Kombinat vyrobnykh pidpriiemstv'", which is linked to Poltava City Council deputy Serhiy Ivashchenko, is obliged to transfer 1.321 million hryvnias to the community budget. This amount compensates for an unpaid share contribution that was to be made during the construction of the "Oval" shopping and entertainment centre in Rozsoshentsi.
According to information published by local media, the main part of the debt amounts to 896,000 hryvnias. The remainder of the sum consists of inflation losses and interest. It is worth noting that Serhiy Ivashchenko, who is a city council deputy from the "Servant of the People" party, also chairs the urban planning committee of this local self-government body.
This is not the only precedent of the company's financial obligations to the community. Previously, another court dispute ended with the recovery of almost 10 million hryvnias from the deputy's enterprise, which also went to the Shcherbanivka community.
