Some members of the Republican Party consider Donald Trump the main culprit for losing control of Congress, while others shift the blame to weak candidates.

Investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court, Markian Halabala, issued a ruling obliging acting Prosecutor General Kovalskyi to enter information on a possible crime committed by David Arakhamia, head of the parliamentary Servant of the People faction, into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations.
This decision was made following the upholding of a complaint by the Corruption Counteraction Centre (CPC), which had complained about Kovalskyi's inaction.
On 19 October, CPC representatives filed a statement alleging that David Arakhamia had been distributing "envelopes" to MPs in exchange for their votes.
However, Kovalskyi, like Kravchenko, responded that the relevant circumstances were already being investigated by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU). The statement was forwarded to the Bureau.
At the same time, only the Prosecutor General can register criminal proceedings against an MP. NABU also confirmed that without the relevant information being entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations, the Bureau cannot investigate a case involving Arakhamia.
