Allegations regarding US Navy activities

Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, issued a statement accusing the United States of organising the illegal transfer of fuel in the waters off the coast of Oman. According to him, military personnel from the United Arab Emirates are involved in this activity.

“The head of US Central Command is directing smuggling operations, resorting to the assistance of UAE military,” Rezaei emphasised. (The head of US Central Command is directing smuggling operations, resorting to the assistance of UAE military)

Mechanism of oil movement and Tehran's reaction

According to the Iranian official, the American side is using five to six small vessels to carry out the smuggling. These boats are allegedly transferring oil to larger tankers.

Meanwhile, in Iran, it is emphasised that the country's armed forces strike such targets every night.
