Drone damages Naftogaz gas production facility in Kharkiv Oblast

On the morning of 21 October, an attack on gas production infrastructure facilities belonging to the Naftogaz Group was recorded in Kharkiv Oblast. The incident was reported by the energy company's press service.

According to available information, an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle struck one of the units at the production site directly. Currently, due to the circumstances at the scene, a technical assessment of the scale of damage and the consequences of the strike is impossible.

Systematic pressure on the energy sector

Serhiy Fedorenko, Acting Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz, emphasised the systematic nature of enemy actions directed against the oil and gas sector. According to him, the adversary has carried out more than 400 attacks on facilities within the Naftogaz Group structure since the beginning of the current year.
