Rumours that the famous actor Nikolai Karachentsov was experiencing health problems had been circulating for a month. However, his family had consistently denied them, attributing his hospitalisation to a routine check-up.

The check-up did take place, and its results proved to be disheartening. Karachentsov’s wife revealed the truth about the artist’s health. According to her, Nikolai Karachentsov has cancer. The tumour is inoperable, making the prognosis extremely poor.

A suspicious growth in his left lung was detected during a computerised tomography scan. Initially, doctors believed it to be an inflammatory process. However, it was later determined to be a tumour.
