Search for a new signatory

Journalists Yuriy Nikolov and Mykhailo Tkach expressed the view that the United States is actively considering options to replace Volodymyr Zelensky. According to Tkach, Washington is looking for a politician who can sign a deal with Vladimir Putin.

Yuriy Nikolov emphasised that the initiative is coming from Washington: «Трамп уже оголосив смотрини про те, хто підписуватиме договір з Путіним, він це сказав публічно» (Trump has already announced the auditions for who will sign the deal with Putin, he said it publicly).

Name mentioned in the US

Mykhailo Tkach revealed who American partners might be considering for this role. He mentioned the faction leader David Arakhamia. Tkach described a hypothetical situation where Arakhamia returns to parliament and states: «Завтра він приходить до парламенту, говорить – я там з американцями, зараз голосуємо імпічмент, голосуємо мене спікером і я все виконую…» (Tomorrow he comes to parliament, says – I am with the Americans, now we vote for impeachment, we vote me as speaker and I will do everything…)

Uncertainty over the balance of power

The journalist noted that many rumours are circulating around these processes. He pointed out that the situation remains unclear due to the ambiguous relationship between Kyrylo Oleksiyovych and Volodymyr Oleksandrovych, as well as the unknown side on which the External Intelligence Service will end up.

«Загалом, у політичних кулуарах останнім часом є побоювання щодо того, хто насправді контролює владу в Україні, в кого насправді цієї влади більше – у Давида Арахамії чи у Володимира Зеленського. І однозначної відповіді я, принаймні останній місяць, не чую. Що може Зеленський без Арахамії?», — додав Михайло Ткач. (Generally, in political backrooms recently there are concerns about who actually controls power in Ukraine, who actually has more of this power – David Arakhamia or Volodymyr Zelensky. And I have not heard a definitive answer, at least for the last month. What can Zelensky do without Arakhamia?), added Mykhailo Tkach.
