Drone hits residential building in Vasishcheve, five residents injured

A Russian drone strike was recorded in the settlement of Vasishcheve, located 20 kilometres from Kharkiv. The target of the attack was a five-storey residential building. The incident was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

Impact on people and infrastructure

Five residents were injured as a result of the shelling: an 18-year-old young man and three women aged 48, 67, 33, and 71. All the injured are receiving the necessary medical assistance.

As Syniehubov clarified, a munition hit the roof of the multi-storey building. In addition, two private residential houses sustained damage. A fire broke out in a greenhouse at the scene of the incident, covering an area of 20 square metres, but the flames have already been contained.

Emergency services response

All relevant emergency services are working at the scene. The elimination of the consequences of the enemy attack is currently underway.
