Plenary session on 7 October
A plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will take place on 7 October. This was announced by People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
During the session, deputies are to consider a package of key bills, the adoption of which is a condition for receiving funding from the European Union. These include, in particular, amendments to the Customs, Tax and Criminal Codes.
Deputy’s assessment of the situation
Yaroslav Zheleznyak noted that the governing majority has sufficient votes to adopt these documents. According to him, the voting process will proceed without problems.
«На всі голоси у влади є і пройдуть без проблем. Жодного важливого антикорупційного законопроєкту немає» (The government has all the votes and they will pass without problems. There is no important anti-corruption bill), the MP emphasised.
