Vitali Klitschko enters National Register of Records for physical fitness

Official recognition of the mayor's physical endurance

Vitali Klitschko, who holds the position of Mayor of Kyiv, received official recognition from the National Register of Records. He was added to the list as the only mayor in Ukraine to successfully perform 55 pull-ups at the age of 55.

A tradition linked to his birthday

According to media reports, the city mayor has a personal tradition: every year on his birthday, he performs a number of pull-ups on a bar equal to his age.

This year, marking his 55th birthday, Vitali Klitschko adhered to this tradition and performed exactly 55 pull-ups.

Entry in the register

Representatives of the National Register of Records decided to officially record this achievement. Thus, Klitschko became the first and, to date, the only mayor in Ukraine whose name appeared in the register for performing 55 pull-ups at the age of 55.
