Arshavin's wife files for divorce

The marriage of footballer Andrey Arshavin did not last long. It has emerged that his young wife Alisa is filing for divorce from the athlete just a year after their wedding.

The reason turned out to be mundane – infidelity. Arshavin repeatedly cheated on his wife, and she was unable to forgive him for it.

According to Alisa, she does not intend to claim child support despite having a daughter in common with Arshavin. The woman earns well herself and is able to provide for her child.

It is worth recalling that for Alisa's sake, the footballer left his common-law wife Yulia Baranskaya and their children. Effectively, they were left without means of subsistence.
