Elon Musk accuses USAID of funding COVID-19 development

Entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk sharply criticised the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), stating that the organisation funded research that led to the emergence of COVID-19.

• Musk called USAID a criminal structure and supported materials claiming that the CIA used the agency to interfere in the internal affairs of governments worldwide, as well as funding biological research in Wuhan.
• According to him, two senior USAID officials were removed from their positions after refusing to grant his representatives access to secure facilities. The businessman himself called the agency a "snake pit of left-wing radicals" and stated that "it is time to destroy it".
•  Furthermore, according to media reports, specialists from DOGE (the Department of Government Efficiency, headed by Musk) gained access to US Department of Treasury systems controlling trillions of dollars.
