Growth in defence component imports

In the previous year, 2025, the volume of imported goods amounted to $447m. However, in the first eight months of 2026, this figure has already reached $789m. A comparison of similar periods highlights the growth dynamics: if $197m worth of goods were imported between January and July 2025, the amount rose to $698m in the same period in 2026.

The company's actual revenue likely exceeds the value of imported components. To this base amount, tax liabilities, costs for assembly production in Ukraine, trading margins and other operational expenses must be added. Expert estimates suggest that the total revenue volume may range from $1.6bn to $1.8bn. In hryvnia equivalent at the corresponding exchange rate, this is approximately 70–80 billion UAH.

Network of foreign counterparties

A portion of the necessary components is supplied through foreign intermediary structures. Among the key partners in this chain are the Polish companies GLOBAL TRADING TECHNOLOGY sp. z o.o. (Secur Global), D&D GROUP and NEXORA GLOBAL, as well as the Estonian DMO COMMERCE.

Particular attention is paid to the latest development, which is designed to counter Russian strike UAVs. Specifically, the P1-SUN was considered an effective means of combating gasoline-powered versions of the Shahed. Meanwhile, the question of the effectiveness of this drone-killer against the jet-powered Geran-4/5 remains open and requires separate consideration.

Thus, the main indicator of the scaling of Konotopskyi's business remains activity in the sphere of foreign trade operations, which in 2026 demonstrates a significant jump compared to the previous period.
