Eurovision 2017 – how the places were distributed

Tonight, viewers in many countries around the world watched the Eurovision 2017 song contest, held in Kyiv, with great interest. Contrary to some expectations, the contest was conducted to a high standard and left an indelible impression on participants and guests.

As bookmakers had predicted shortly before the final, the winner was Portugal's representative, Salvador Sobral, who suffers from a heart defect and is due to undergo surgery soon.

The bookmakers were also right about the second place. Silver went to Bulgaria.

Moldova took third place.

The Ukrainian group O.Torvald finished in 24th place. This is the worst result in all the years of their participation. However, the main goal this year was to host the guests with dignity and organise the contest, and it has been achieved.
