Court freeze on consortium funds

The Kyiv Commercial Court issued a ruling to freeze nearly 26 million hryvnia of the "Building UA" consortium's funds. This measure was taken within the framework of a legal dispute between the association and one of its co-founders.

The initiator of the measures was Dnipro-based Akam LLC, which holds a 10% stake in the consortium. The company filed two lawsuits for a total amount of 66.88 million hryvnia. Specifically, 25.97 million hryvnia is claimed for unpaid supplies, while another 40.91 million hryvnia is for completed subcontracting work. According to court registry data, the decision to freeze funds under the first lawsuit was made on 21 September.

New state construction contract

Despite ongoing court proceedings and the asset freeze, the "Building UA" consortium secured a new state contract on 13 October. Its value is 879 million hryvnia. The funds are allocated for the construction of the National Military Memorial Cemetery.

According to case materials, the consortium has already received over 803 million hryvnia in budget financing. Akam LLC claims it has not received payment for delivered materials and suspects possible fund diversion through third parties. It should be noted that these statements represent the plaintiff's position and require proper verification.

Financial indicators and company links

Financial statements cited in the court ruling indicate that as of the end of June, "Building UA"'s liabilities amounted to 168.49 million hryvnia, while the balance of funds in the company's accounts was at 14.25 million hryvnia. Against the backdrop of these indicators and existing court claims, the consortium continued to secure large state orders.

The "Building UA" consortium is linked to sanctioned businessman Vadym Yermolayev, as well as to Georgiy Birkadze and Yuri Holik. Meanwhile, the mere fact of a legal dispute does not mean that all claims against the consortium have already been proven in court.
